Serum levels of total antioxidant capacity (TAC) (nmol/mL), total thiols (mmol/L), glutathione (GSH) (μg/mL), catalase (IU/L), superoxide dismutase (SOD) (U/mL), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) (U/mL), and , malondialdehyde (MDA) (nmol/mL), and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) (mmol/L) in the different groups. Compared to the untreated control rats, the cadmium-exposed rats exhibited significantly decreased levels of total thiols, GSH, catalase, and TAC. The levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) were significantly increased in cadmium-exposed rats compared to the untreated control rats. Resveratrol-treated rats showed no significant differences in the measured biochemical parameters compared to the untreated control rats. In the rats exposed to cadmium and treated with resveratrol, the biochemical parameters showed improvements toward the control levels and were significantly different compared to those of the cadmium-exposed rats
