We are pleased to introduce the first special issue of “medicine and oral surgery”, this issue highlights multidisciplinary contents, it includes three manuscripts, topics covered include the management of dental disease, dental revascularization, facial paralysis and an overview of the oral cancer.

We hope that the papers in this issue will prove helpful toward the most recent developments in medicine and oral surgery.

At the end of this preface, I would like to take the opportunity to extend my sincere acknowledgement to all the authors and readers of our journal, for their thoughtful remarks and for extending their kind support and co-operation which truly helped the journal to grow and become as successful as it is today.
