(A, B): Effects of individual natural compounds and their combinations as Mix and Core on AGE-BSA formation in the presence of glucose (Figure 1A) and fructose (Figure 1B). Positive control for AGE-BSA formation is the combination of glucose (Figure 1A) or fructose (Figure 1B) with BSA and Xanthine Oxidase (XO). Core consists of glucose or fructose, BSA and XO together with sodium pyruvate, alpha ketoglutaric acid, niacinamide, L-proline, L-glutamine and L-citrulline in equal amounts and Mix contains glucose or fructose, BSA and XO, all Core ingredients together with pantothenic acid, magnesium citrate, magnesium malate, L-cysteine and L-methionine. Negative controls are shown using glucose+ XO (Figure 1A) or fructose+XO (Figure 1B). Error bars represent standard deviation
