An IBM-2 Calculation of E2/M1 Multipole Mixing Ratios of transitions in 90-96Sr
Saad Naji Abood, Laith Ahmed Najim
International Journal of Physics. 2016 4 (1). doi: 10.12691/ijp-4-1-2
Keywords: interacting boson model, the electric transition probability, multipol mixing ratios, nuclear shell model, Sr Isotopes
Context: The interacting boson model is applied to the even strontium isotopes, 90-96Sr. Excitation energies, electromagnetic transition strengths, quadrupole and δ(E2/M1) multipole mixing ratios have been described systematically. It is seen that the properties of low-lying levels in these isotopes, for which the comparison between experiment and theory is possible, can be epistemologically satisfied by the Interacting Boson Model-2 (IBM-2).

Optical transitions in Quantum Dots
A. Benahmed, A. Aissat, M. A. Benammar
International Journal of Physics. 2014 2 (4). doi: 10.12691/ijp-2-4-3
Keywords: hétérostructures, InAs / GaAs, the Schrödinger equation, simulation, COMSOL
Context: The analysis of the electronic states of a quantum dot of InAs grown on a GaAs substrate has been studied for different geometries. We did the calculation with each type of geometry we based on the Schrödinger equation for stationary particle and we used "Comsol" for calculations. We calculated energy values as a function of each of the parameters: length, width and thickness of the wetting layer where other parameters are held constant.
